The following changes cannot be synchronized with HomeKit.

Use the configurator app on your iOS device to sync the changes to HomeKit. You can find out how to do this in the online handbook.

If the changes are not synchronized, the devices will appear in the Home app with the wrong name or in the wrong room.

KNX Gateway

The gateway provides an ip connection to access your KNX installation. The gateway must support KNXnet/IP Tunnelling.

Automatic Discovery

The IP address of the gateway will be determined automatically. Multicast must be allowed.

How to send notifications?

Configure accessory notifications

Notifications are sent to browsers via the Push API. The following browsers have been tested for compatibility.

	Safari	Chrome
macOS 13+
iOS 16.4 or higher ¹
iOS 17.4 ²

Sending web push notifications to browsers is currently still in the testing phase.

¹ In order for Safari to receive web push notifications, the web interface must be added to the home screen as a web app. To do this, follow these steps.

Open the web interface in Safari
In Safari, tap the Share button
Select the option "Add to Home Screen"
Add the web interface to the home screen
Open the web app by clicking on the icon on the home screen
Register the web app for notifications

² Since iOS 17.4, web push notifications no longer work.
